Scarsdale Forum to Feature Talk by Board of Ed President Suzanne Seiden

The next meeting of the Scarsdale Forum will feature a talk by Suzanne Seiden, president of the Scarsdale Union Free School District Board of Education, on the state of the village’s school system.


Seiden will update attendees on the school system’s search for a new superintendent, the Master Facilities and multi-year Strategic plans and the development of the upcoming school budget for 2013-14. A Q&A session will follow the presentation.


In addition to Seiden’s talk, the event will also honor the Scarsdale Volunteer Ambulance Corps.

The meeting, which is open to the public, is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 21, in the Scott Room of the Scarsdale Library, 54 Olmsted Road. A welcome reception will run from 7:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. when the meeting will begin.
