The students from the in Scarsdale are starring in photographer Steven Schnur's new exhibit.
Schnur's photos, on display starting Tuesday night, "document a year in the life of a single kindergarten class at Heathcote School in Scarsdale," the photographer said in an announcement.
"For a year I have been granted rare access to the classroom and came away enthralled by the exuberance, humor, intelligence and beauty of my 19 five-year-old subjects," he said. "Something miraculous takes place in our classrooms daily, but few get to witness it. I was extremely privileged to do so."
A total of 650 photos, out of more than 20,000 Schnur snapped over the year, will be on display this week, he said.
The photo exhibition is opening Tuesday, June 5 from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at the in Scarsdale.
