Students took part in Senior Transition Day on Monday.

hosts Senior Transition Day every year to give seniors the opportunity to reflect on their experience at Scarsdale High School and offer them support as they begin the next chapter of their lives. This year, the event took place on Monday at SHS.

“Seniors have been on senior options, some haven’t seen each other for months, so senior transition day is a way for kids to get back in touch before graduation,” said Dean Oren Iosepovici. “It’s also a culminating experience and an opportunity for seniors to talk to alumni and learn about the freshman experience.”

Seniors had the chance to listen to a group of last year’s graduates talk about their college freshman experience and answer questions. Following the presentations, seniors met with their deans for an end of the year discussion. Seniors received their yearbooks and socialize with their peers and faculty at a luncheon.

Senior Steven Nadel said the day "is a great way for seniors to get acclimated with what post-Scarsdale life will be like."
