These students presented their service learning projects on Feb. 14.

These Scarsdale Middle School students spent Valentine's Day "sharing the love" and sharing their service learning projects.

Teacher Nancy Collins said the Butler 8 social studies students "shared the love on Valentines Day when they presented their service learning projects. Students learned about the Gilded Age and Progressive Era in social studies."

"On Human Rights Day, the Butler 8 team all presented various lessons on Americans in need," Collins said. "Then students researched related topics that they found interesting and carried out acts of service all over the tri-state area."
