Tuesday Is Election Day for Greenburgh School Board, Spending Plan

Remember to head to the polls in Greenburgh Tuesday, May 20, to elect two Board of Education candidates and to decide on the school system's spending plan. Polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 9 p.m.

Running for the two seats are, in alphabetical order:

Jeffrey Barnes
Deborah Campbell
Cora Carey
Claudia Glaser

The school board elections in adjacent Scarsdale and Tarrytown are uncontested; in both communities two people are running for the two seats. Scarsdale is proposing to spend $148.2 million for the school system, and Tarrytown is proposing to spend $71.2 million. 

The Town of Greenburgh is proposing to spend $63.4 million for the school system.
