Pace University Sports Launches New Athletics Website

PaceUAthletics.com is the new online home for all things Pace sports, the university announced last week.

The launch of the new site is a rebranding effort, of sorts, by bringing together and centralizing all elements of the school's athletics news, from Setters team schedules to shopping access to social media information. The site will be hosted by Sidearm Sports.

Additionally, the new site will also carry news about two new sports the school is adding to its athletics roster in 2015, women's lacrosse and field hockey.

"The launch of PaceUAthletics.com is a tremendous accomplishment and we are excited to present this website to our student-athletes, parents, fans, alumni and recruits," said Pace Athletics Director Mark Brown in a statement. "We are always looking for ways to enhance our online platform and we feel strongly that this website will be extremely beneficial for us moving forward."

The Pace University Athletics Department is excited to announce the launch of its new website hosted by Sidearm Sports.

PaceUAthletics.com is a highly interactive platform where Setters fans can easily access information from the main page. From tabs above the main story, fans are able to access the latest video as well as archived video files. There is also a social media tab where fans can connect to the Setters Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts all in one location. Game day promotions and parking information will also be available on the same toolbar throughout the school year.

Fans looking for information on special events, social media information and access to the athletics online team shop will find banner advertisements presented on the homepage throughout the school year. The newest promotions provided from the team shop will be updated routinely on the rotating image underneath the story photos. To watch games and events live in high definition throughout the school year a video portal titled "Watch Pace Live" is located in the middle of the home page and on each individual team page throughout the site. Archived events such as the 2014 Hall of Fame induction ceremony can be found within the archives.

For Pace University Athletics Alumni all information regarding the Setters Club can be found on both the main toolbar at the top of the website and also next to the video portal. Information regarding alumni events, ways to get involved, the Pace Athletics Hall of Fame, Pace Athletics golf outings and alumni feature stories can all be found under the Setters Club tab.

Additionally, information on all the Setters varsity sports teams is centralized. Fans can see the upcoming game schedule from the homepage. On team specific pages, if a player's bio is selected, all relevant stories that include that player are accessible from the bio page, as are player stats.

Information will be updated throughout the athletics component of the master plan including weekly photos and videos on the homepage. The new site will also be the home of all information for the intramurals and recreation department for both the Pleasantville and New York City campuses.

An adaptive mobile website will be available when you search www.PaceUAthletics.com on your mobile phone. This will include enhanced live stats as well as links to the video portal for live events and varsity competitions in high definition.

The website is the most recent advancement for the Pace Athletics Department. In addition to the improvements made in the athletics component of the Pleasantville Master Plan, the Setters are unveiling two new sports in 2015. The spring semester will see women's lacrosse added to the slate while fall 2015 will introduce field hockey to the Pace community.
