The Mets and Yankees have kicked off their seasons, so that means it won't be long before the Hudson Valley's newest pro baseball team — the — take to the field at Provident Bank Park in Pomona.
Individual individual game tickets for the 2012 season go on sale today, Sunday, April 15 at 1 p.m. Tickets will be available at the Provident Bank Park box office from 1 to 5 p.m., as well as, online at www.rocklandboulders.com.
The 2012 season, the second season of l, will feature an extensive list of promotions and premium giveaways to appeal to fans of all ages at . Promotions such as the traditional fan favorite fireworks and more premium giveaways highlight the schedule.
Fans will enjoy the return of favorite promotions from last year such as Dollar Dog Days, Sunday Kids-Run-the Bases and more while enjoying new promotions such as the Friday Night Boulders Bash.
“We promise affordable family entertainment and we are not just talking about the play on the field by the Boulders,” said Ken Lehner, president of the . “Our goal this season is to have a promotion or premium for all 50 home games. The excitement is building so we wanted to share what we have planned so far. We have other great promotions and premiums up our sleeve that will be announced as the season progresses. Some where up in heaven Bill Veeck is smiling!”
The Boulders open their seaon with a fundraising exhibition game against the New York City Police Department baseball team on May 12, followed by the season opener on May 13 at home against the New Jersey Jackals.
