Sports lovers waited in a lengthy line that wrapped around the block, excited to meet former on Saturday. At the meet and greet, fans flocked to the Scarsdale ice cream shop for a glimpse of Williams and a coveted autograph.
“Most bring in their own memorabilia,” Gregory Kassimis, who was helping to run the event, said of the autograph-seeking fans.
And the fans brought a variety of interesting memorabilia to get signed. One fan brought in a seat from the old Yankee's stadium, and another man brought a Puerto Rican jersey, which seemed to impress everyone in the store.

When Bernie Williams arrived, everything got under way. The staff made sure everyone had their Yankees gear out, ready to go, as they entered the shop.
Williams was very soft-spoken and polite, interacting well with his fans of all ages.
Saturday's signing was number 18 for Last Licks, which opened in September.
In two weeks, Mariano Rivera will be at to sign autographs and meet fans. Be sure to get in line early!
