A stark difference to this weekend's , the National Weather Service issued a severe weather alert for the area today.
The severe thunderstorm watch is in effect for Westchester County through 2:00 p.m. today.
A cold front is bringing in showers, thunderstorms, wind gusts and heavy rain, according to the NWS. Scarsdale could see up to to an inch of rain, hail and damaging winds, with a high temperature of 76 degrees today, according to the NWS.
Around Westchester, there is potential for "urban flooding. Isolated flash flooding will be possible as well," the alert states.
However, Tuesday is looking to be a bit calmer weather-wise. The NWS said to expect a chance of showers after 1:00 p.m. There will be mostly sunny skies and a high of 75 degrees.
