Finally, some relief is in sight from the 90-degree-plus temperatures and intense sun in Scarsdale.
The National Weather Service is forecasting thunderstorms for the area after 1:00 p.m. today.
According to the NWS, Scarsdale is in for storms, wind gusts, rain and frequent lightening.
Although the daytime high should reach 93 degrees, the evening will cool off to about 72 degrees, according to the NWS.
Maybe not the perfect beach day Wednesday, but the much-needed cool down ushers in an 88-degree day on Thursday.
