Rock Concert Raises Funds For Scarsdale Teen Center

The Adult Night of Rock attracted close to 200 supporters.

There were no teens allowed at this event. But the adults rocked out for a very good cause.

On Saturday, May 5, the Scarsdale Teen Center held to raise funds for the center.

The annual benefit, held at Vintage in White Plains, attracted close to 200 concert-goers and center supporters, according to Janet Korins of the Teen Center.

"It was a great evening," Korins said. "We are thrilled that we had about 175 people at the event, with approximately $8,000 raised to benefit the Teen Center."

The fundraiser was hosted by 107.1 The Peak’s Jimmy Fink. Several bands that performed have Scarsdale connections, including: The DB6 with Dan Bernstein, Dave Cannon, Dan Groner, Mike Pearson, Steve Rabinowitz and Eric Wayne; We Stole The Kids, with band members August Coupe, Jess Ingui, Erich Sherman, Ziya Smallens, Scott Jacobson and Brett Schneider; and Skyfactor with Bob Ziegler, Jon Rubin, Cliff Rubin and Jason Taylor.

The night included a silent auction and raffle prizes.
