The Scarsdale Rotary Club's 3rd Annual Wine Tasting Event raised over $16,000 for charity.

This year, the managed to attract a crowd and beat its fundraising goal.

"We raised net proceeds of $16,167.90," Scarsdale Rotary Club Member Robin Colner said.

About 150 folks attended the at Fox Meadows on March 29.

The event, featuring wines from raised funds for the Haitian Water Project, Scarsdale High School scholarships, the Children's Village and Scarsdale-Edgemont Family Counseling Services, according to Rick Reuter, co-chair of the event.

"This was a major event for us," Reuter said. "The first year, we raised somewhat shy of $15,000."
