In and Around Scarsdale: Veteran's Day, a POTS Event and an Author Luncheon

- Veteran’s Day Ceremony: Greenburgh will honor military heroes Monday during a ceremony in observance of Veteran's Day. The ceremony will take place at 1 p.m. at Desanti Plaza on East Hartsdale Avenue (across from the Hartsdale Train Station). Free.



- POTS, 2nd Annual Harvest Dine-Around: Club Chefs of Westchester, Baldor Specialty Foods, Inc., Hampshire Country Club, and close to two dozen local chefs, clubs, and gourmet merchants are teaming up to support Part of the Solution (POTS) on Tuesday at 7 p.m. Join them at the Dine-Around, showcasing this year's special dishes, wonderful wines, and tasty desserts. - Book and Author Luncheon: The Literature Department of the Bronxville Women’s Club invites the public to its annual Book and Author Luncheon at noon on Wednesday. This year, following the luncheon, the guest author will be Katharine Greider, author of the book, "The Archaeology of Home:  An Epic Set on a Thousand Square Feet of the Lower East Side." Admission is $25 all inclusive. Bronxville Women's Club, 135 Midland Avenue, Bronxville.

- Water & Wine: Explore Israel’s wine revolution, including an exclusive tasting with an Israeli wine expert, and learn about innovations in Israel’s water management and conservation with guest speaker Zevi Kahanov, National Director of the JNF Parsons Water Fund.
