How To Stay Motivated And Keep Your New Year's Resolution

Some of us are motivated for a minute. Some of us do something for a day. We join the gym but never go. Here are some ways to get you motivated to keep your New Year's Resolution.

  1. Wake up every morning and say “Only I can do this for me.”
  2. Find a workout buddy. Make a date at the gym.
  3. Pick the perfect music to sweat with.
  4. Find a class you love.
  5. Remember how great you feel after you workout. Get those endorphins flowing.
  6. Stay away from people that complain about you going to the gym. Their mindset it not in the health zone. They might rub off on you and you may stop coming to the gym. Take a mini-vacation from them until you are strong enough to “conquer your mind to conquer your body.”
  7. Remember YOU are someone’s motivation…friends and family. Don’t let them down.
  8. Hire a personal trainer or join a Will2Lose Super Team Challenge. Make yourself accountable.
  9. Log on to Will2Lose FB page for your daily dose of motivation.
  10. Need more motivation to continue to exercising? How about avoiding death. Get those bad numbers down and good ones up.

If this is happening in a community like Scarsdale, then as a taxpayer I am irritated. Where are allRead More the taxes going if teachers are paying for their own classroom supplies? There has to be some degree of accountability regarding our tax dollars. We are the highest-taxed county in the nation and we can't afford notebooks and post-it notes? As a community member, I am not going to "lend a hand." I already do that with my tax dollars.
