Creative Playtime

<p>Creative Playtime is located in a residential neighborhood bordering Eastchester and Scarsdale and was founded in 1981 as an outreach program of Grace Lutheran Church.</p> <p>Children of all religious or ethnic background are welcome. Creative Playtime provides half-day and extended day programs for children ages 2 to 4 years old.</p> <p>The school year runs from mid-September to early June. An ease-in schedule aids children in separating.</p> <p>Creative Playtime is a New York State Licensed facility and is inspected annually to meet the requirements for a safe child care center.  <br />   <br /> The professional staff strive to create a nurturing environment and attend annual conferences and workshops as part of teacher development efforts. They also participate in on-going training in the field of early education.</p> <p>Director Carol Guthrie reports to the Creative Playtime School Board. The curriculum is designed to foster children's growth by stimulating their curiosity and challenging their mental and physical needs, including social skills, promoting language and building self-esteem.</p> <p> </p>
