Weinberg Nature Center

The Weinberg Nature Center has been serving the community's schools, scouts, and the public since 1958. The center is part of the Scarsdale Parks, Recreation, and Conservation department. It is dedicated to the study and interpretation of natural resources. The Weinberg Nature Center is approximately 10 acres of wildlife sanctuary consisting of a meadow, fruit orchard, woodlots, swamp, and a woodland Indian Village. In addition, it has several trails and picnic areas, the Trailside Museum, a bird haven, a Japanese-style Zen garden, and a hiking trail system. The Weinberg Nature Center is sponsored by the Friends of the Weinberg Nature Center, Inc.
