It helps Westchester Japanese residents to share their traditions with other residents in the community.</p> <p>The volunteers of this organization visit the community and various school groups with the intention of sharing authentic Japanese traditions such as the art of the tea ceremony, calligraphy, flower arranging and origami.The library loans kimonos, books, videos, calligraphy sets, Japanese artifacts and other items to Japanese volunteers for school and community projects.</p> <p>The association also provides workshops for Japanese families who want to get involved in the community and their children's schools.</p>
