Hi,

Thanks for checking my profile.

I politely prefer to remain anonymous. I don't want to become recognized as the commuter cop. When I'm on the train I just want to be left alone. I do encourage you to send me your anonymous commiserating commuter stories. I will publish them along with mine. We can vent together... and maybe find a healthy release of bemused laughter. However, if you are reading this you have become curious as to my perspective. So I offer this.

I've lived in Scarsdale for most of my adult life after moving here from the city. Like many of my neighbors looking for a short commute, good school system, and stable real estate prices, yada, yada.

I obviously commute to the city and find daily annoyances we all deal with. Like tourists, near my office on fifth avenue, who think sidewalks are for congregating and posing for pictures. Not staying out of my way so I can get to my office. Please don't think I'm a bitter guy.

I do spend my days reminding myself of how lucky I am. I am filled with gratitude for my life, healthy family, and successful job in sports and entertainment. So I write this with a grain of salt. Sure I'm totally annoyed by stupid people, but this is for fun. I hope by reading this our collective commuting consciences will be enlightened, more courteous, and our daily herding-like behavior (we are the cows) to GCT become more tolerable.

Namaste,

CC
