Joseph M. Gerace has spent much of his adult life in newsrooms, beginning with The Oracle , his college newspaper at SUNY New Paltz. After that he interned with The Legislative Gazette, covering New York's political scene.  His next two jobs were with the Daily Freeman in Kingston, NY, and amNewYork in Manhattan.
In his free time Joseph enjoys playing the drums, bouldering , running and literature. His favorite books fiction-wise are "Infinite Jest ," "The Sun Also Rises " and "I Know This Much is True ." He hates writing in third person and his favorite poem is definitely Jorie Graham's "The Guardian Angel of the Little Utopia ." As far as music goes, forget it: Joseph likes really weird stuff. His top 6 bands, in this precise order, are: The Mountain Goats, Fugazi, Glassjaw, Animal Collective, The Mars Volta and The Mae Shi. He's very approachable despite all that, so if you see him around town make sure to say hello! I am very liberal on most social issues and generally favor conservative fiscal policy.    Religion How religious would you say you are? Casual, observant, devout, non-religious? I don't subscribe to any particular religion, but I enjoy a well thought-out belief system as much as the next guy. Whatever quiet, gentle thing you hold close to your heart is OK with me.
