Why Go: Gently used clothing will be sold for bargain prices. And we’re not just talking about skuzzy sneakers and old fleece pullovers, either. We once heard a rumor that someone scored a pair of unworn Ferragamo loafers at one of these local tag sales!

When: Saturday, March12, 12 p.m.

Why Go: A full parade procession, resplendent with 25 bands, six floats and the requisite kilt-wearing bagpipers, will march down Old Mamaroneck Avenue. Hit a nearby restaurant afterwards for some Irish-inspired culinary creations – and perhaps a pint, too.

Why Go: This English play satirizing English art dealers in the 1990s serves as equal parts social commentary and entertainment.

Why Go: Actor John Chappell has studied Mark Twain’s mannerisms, works and sayings to the extent that his reenactment brings an eerily-accurate portrayal of the 19th century curmudgeon to life.
